The Marguerite Information Technology Training Centre has the latest in training and conferencing equipment. Whether you need to upgrade your education through distance learning, collaborate ideas during your next regional committee meeting, offer or receive special tutoring, interact with guest speakers from all over the world or discuss internet based ideas and examples, the training centre will surely meet your every need. The possibilities are endless! Even if you require more seating in a larger room, our SmartBoard and video conferencing equipment can be relocated to meet your group's needs.

The Training Centre is outfitted with 12 internet equipped computer workstations with one teacher workstation, an overhead projector with a huge 10' x 10' screen, a state of the art Panasonic SmartBoard with the ability to control applications on your computer and video conferencing equipment for face to face meetings without the lengthy travel time.

Included on the computer workstations are Microsoft XP, Microsoft Office 2003, Adobe Acrobat, Macromedia Dreamweaver MX and Macromedia Flash. Speakers are integrated.

The technologies and space were developed and made available through a partnership between Grey Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, Pembroke Regional Hospital, Renfrew County Community Futures Development Corporation and Ottawa River Energy Solutions.
